When I saw this a couple of weeks ago on CNN I jumped out of my seat. Charles Barkley puts it down. I know he published a book titled Who’s Afraid of a Large Black Man?, but by calling the religious right “fake Christians,”openly advocating women’s right to choose, and taking an affirmative stance on gay marriage, Sir Charles may be on his way to being born again as a New Black Man.

How is Charles going to get voted into the governorship in Alabama putting down “fake conservatives?
The Democrat party and the Democrat/Independents in this country are prejudice towards religion, race, age, and gender. Charles Barkely, ex-NBA, is more proof of the outright discrimination that is not only hurled at conservatives but blacks, Mexicans, and women they are conservatives/Christians too.

Okay, you may disagree with Barkley’s stance, but do you seriously believe that “conservatives” aren’t prejudiced and intolerant in the realms of religion, race, and gender?
He doesn’t call them “fake Christians” because they are conservative. He calls them such because he believes that they are hypocritics. I don’t want to put words in his mouth, but as I see it, he believes people have the right to have a conservative agenda, but he doesn’t believe that they should be able limit the rights of others in the process. That’s when public policy becomes bigoted and oppressive. Those who claim values of democracy and freedom, but don’t want to honor the citizenship and contributions, of same-gender loving people, the right of women to have control over their bodies, and demonizes non-Christian fundamentalist religious expression, wreaks of hypocrisy because the only beliefs, values, and attitudes that should have a place at the table are “conservative.” That’s undemocratic, and therefore hypocritical.
Can “liberals” be hypocritical, you bet, but liberals haven’t run the country as of late.

Yes, they are very inclusive, the Democrats are the party that put everybody into categories in order to keep the in the victim status. And to get control over the various groups.
The Rights of others is what the conservatives are all about. More Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act than did Democrats. The Democrats filibustered it.
The Democrat party was the party of slavery during the 1800’s. The Republican party was the first and only successful third party in our history. They used to be much more conservative then some of them are now.
I don’t remember the Clinton’s promoting minorities only the Bush administration.
