You’re pretty hard on people for something that I think is ultimately petty. For all we know, the “R” could have fallen off due to the wind.
This is a real possibility because I took the picture at 4:30 in the afternoon on Easter Sunday. My wife and I noticed it on our way home from an Easter dinner with friends. It was taken outside of a local gym. I’m sure that no one was at work on Easter to notice and/or “fix” the sign.
What you’re regarding as “blatant ignorance, stupidity, and unadulterated unconsciousness” can be chalked up validly to the “circumstances of life.”
Lighten up. I hope you’re as agitated by the real evils of this world.

I’m convinced that some people, and churches need to just stop or be shut down as appropriate.
There’s NO excuse for such blantant ignorance, stupidity and unadulterated unconsciousness that is displayed in this sign.
